I'm a 18 year veteran Police Officer who is very into health/wellness for the sake of my career and for the sake of longevity to get the most out of the years I have with my family and children.

I've always enjoyed working out at home... but this year with the help of my 13 year old son who is also super into lifting and nutrition, I decided I was going to create and actual space where we could work out together and be able to lift all year long.

We both fell in love with the look of the B52 Pro and we are so glad we went with it to complete our set up. This has been a family affair and we look forwards to years of health and togetherness!

In May of 2025, I hit a point where I was done making excuses. I was sitting at 300 pounds, talking about getting healthier, but not fully living it yet. My wife and I had started making better choices, but I knew we needed something that forced consistency.

So we made a decision. We brought the gym home.

We bought the Major Fitness B52 Pro Power Rack and turned our garage into a place where excuses didn’t exist anymore. Two late nights, full time jobs, three kids, and whatever spare time we could find, we built it ourselves. We gutted the garage, painted the walls, laid down mats, and in one week, everything changed. What used to be clutter became a commitment.

That rack didn’t just upgrade our workouts. It upgraded our standards.

Fast forward to today and that decision changed everything. We use that gym daily. No commute. No waiting. No excuses.

I’m down 105 pounds, sitting at 195. My wife is down 50.

But more than the weight, it’s the mindset. It’s the discipline. It’s showing up every single day in the same place we built with our own hands.

That garage gym didn’t just transform our space. When people ask me what was one of the biggest changes that helped me on my journey often say, “ I build a gym in my garage.”

It transformed our life.

Having my setup from Major Fitness changed everything for me. It’s not just about having equipment at home, it’s about what it created inside my house. I don’t miss workouts anymore, I don’t make excuses, and I’m not wasting time driving back and forth trying to fit it in. It’s right there, so I show up every day and dont need to leave the kids behind.

But the biggest thing isn’t even me, it’s my kids. They see it. They see me train, stay disciplined, and keep showing up whether I feel like it or not. That matters more than anything I could ever tell them. Now they’re starting to move more, pick things up, ask questions, want to be involved , wanting to workout with me . It’s becoming normal for them to be active instead of sitting around playing Vr video games .

Major Fitness Heritage B17 honestly changed the whole environment. It turned fitness into part of our everyday life instead of something I had to go somewhere else to do. I’m not just working on myself anymore, I’m setting the standard for them without even having to say a word.

That’s the difference. That’s why this setup means more than just a gym to me. It gives me more time with my family.

Ps: I have a ton on my plate but yes there is some things im passionate about and thats my kids, fitness, helping others and creating content to be informative or make others smile. Smiles make me smile. I'm happy when others are happy. That reflects on me so much.

About a year ago, something shifted for me. I hit 35… and even though I was running regularly, I just didn’t see the changes I wanted. I didn’t just want to be active, I wanted to build the best version of my body.

I started with free weights at home, and while it was a good start, after a few months I realized it wasn’t enough to truly progress. Between work and being a mom, getting to the gym just wasn’t realistic.

So I made a decision, I convinced my husband to invest in equipment and we built a little gym in our garage.

Best decision I made.

I’m obsessed with my B52 Pro. I can train every part of my body, it’s simple to use, and it fits perfectly into my routine. No excuses, no wasted time.

Now I’m at a point where working out isn’t optional. If I skip it, I feel it. It’s part of who I am now.

Consistency really does change everything.

I’m just someone who works out because it makes me better all around. I started years ago wanting more out of my day… more energy, more discipline, just feeling like I had control of my life instead of everything being all over the place.

Over time it turned into way more than just working out. It became part of my routine, my structure. It taught me consistency and dedication, even on days I don’t feel like doing it. That’s the biggest thing for me showing up no matter what.

For me, working out isn’t just about the gym. It sets the tone for my whole day. If I get a good workout in, everything else just flows better work, family time, everything. It puts me in the right mindset. It’s like starting the day with a win, and that carries into everything else I do.

My wife and I started our indoor playground business in May 2025, and life hasn’t slowed down since. I’m a husband, a girl dad to a 3 year old and a 1 year old, I work full-time as a community health worker and part-time as a police officer with 12 years in law enforcement, so time means everything to me.

Before we moved, I relied on a local gym to stay consistent. But once the business opened, our days turned into long hours, late nights, early mornings and on top of that, an hour commute each way. Getting to the gym became unrealistic.

In September 2025, we moved closer to our business and into a home with a garage. That’s when I knew I had to make a change. I committed to building a home gym and came across Major Fitness, where I secured the F22 Pro power rack and honestly, it’s been a game changer.

Now, my gym is just steps away. No commute, no excuses. Whether it’s before the girls wake up or after they’re asleep, I can stay consistent. Fitness has impacted my life in so many positive ways, and having the F22 Pro gives me everything I need to stay healthy and keep pushing forward.

Right now, I’m training for my first HYROX Pro Men’s Doubles in New York this June and I’m excited and nervous all at the same time.

I discovered Major Fitness in 2022 when I was first getting into fitness. At the time, COVID was still a major concern to us , and I wasn’t comfortable going to a public gym. I wanted to prioritize my health and build a sustainable, active lifestyle from home.

My husband and I came across Major Fitness and decided to invest in the PLM03 rack. That decision truly sparked my passion for fitness. Having the ability to work out in the comfort of my own home-alongside our four dogs-made the experience both convenient and enjoyable.

Training at home not only helped me stay consistent, but also built discipline and allowed me to work toward my dream physique. Since then, we’ve upgraded to the B52 Pro, and I’ve genuinely loved every attachment and feature it offers.
Most importantly, it’s given my husband and me the opportunity to train together while continuing to include our fur babies in our daily routine. It’s been an incredible addition to our fitness journey.

I'll never understand how people don't go to the gym.
It's literally an hour of great music, with your favorite person, and getting fit.

5 am gym time is our time and with the cool new Major Fitness B17 functional trainer we can maximize efficiency by using it for different exercises at the same time!

Most mornings after stretching and mobility work we have 40-45 minutes to lift so every second counts!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! My wife and I decided to gift each other our own home gym so we can really dial in our lifestyle.

Really proud of how far we’ve come in a year. She’s just 40 and I’ve lost 110 lbs but we’re both looking to get even more fit.

Our garage gym is coming along. We’re about 75% of the way there and it’s so refreshing to know I can roll out of bed or take a break from editing and get after it within minutes.

Fitness has shaped who I am for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing sports and became a collegiate athlete, where I learned discipline, resilience, and how to keep showing up—even when it’s hard. That passion turned into my purpose, leading me to become a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and coach across strength training, yoga, Pilates, and CrossFit.

In 2020, everything changed. I moved my coaching online, leading workouts from home and finding new ways to support others. That same year, my husband and I got married and started building our life together. Shortly after, I lost my dad, and we made the decision to move closer to family. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life—but also one that reminded me just how important movement and routine were for my mental and physical health.

In 2021, we welcomed our first baby, followed by twin girls. Becoming a mom of three transformed my life and my body. Through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the chaos of motherhood, fitness became more than just a workout—it became my therapy, my strength, and my way to keep showing up for myself and my family.

Now, I run my coaching business from my home gym, where my kids are often right beside me. It’s not perfect—but it’s real, and it’s mine. I’m passionate about helping women, especially moms, feel strong, confident, and capable in their bodies no matter what season they’re in.

Fitness isn’t just something I do—it’s how I’ve navigated life’s highest highs and lowest lows. And my home gym is where that story continues.

In reality what I'm getting ready to share with you is part two of a much bigger story however, this part relates to what you want to hear. In September 2024 I weighed 264 pounds... far more than the 195 pounds I weighed before I suffered a near death heart attack in 2019. The cardiologist said I had 99% blockage and would have died instantly at any moment, had I not got to the hospital when I did. The doctor described my blockage as an artery; famously called "the widow maker" because it is usually too late to save a person when the symptoms arise. The whole experience was one big miracle however, one week after that surgery I wound up back on the operating table where another heart procedure resulted in my aorta being punctured by the surgeon. This was devastating news to me because it meant "years" of no lifting anything over 30 pounds, no over exertion, and no flying in an airplane. You see, I am a missionary that has cared for orphans since they were small children. You can also check out the Movie called “The Machine Gun Preacher” and the Documentary to understand more about the importance of what my life's purpose which, is serving with Sam Childers known as The Machine Gun Preacher as Hollywood movie stars Gerrard Butler, Michael Shannon and Michelle Monagan all took a huge pay cut to help create awareness about our work in South Sudan and Northern Uganda. So, for 3 1/2 years my life's purpose was ripped away leaving me depressed and fearful of any type of exercise that could trigger whatever the Doctors went into fix that didn't get done because of the ruptured artery. This resulted in me gaining 70 pounds and basically, I felt like my life was over. It was the darkest of times for a man that had already overcome so much with losing my left leg (and almost my life) in 2004 from a motorcycle accident. In the couple of years leading up to my heart attack, I was in the best shape of my life with me being the only one around I knew having a prosthetic leg and active in weightlifting and CrossFit. And to think I would not see my children in Africa again, was more than I could emotionally handle. Finally in November 2023 my cardiologist cleared me saying "I was as healed as I was going to get". It wasn't the news I was hoping for, but it was enough to get me excited about seeing my children again in Africa which is all I could ever think about. Three and a half years of waiting and the Cardiologist told me that it was better to live my life to the fullest than to attempt the surgery again and perhaps lose my life on the operating table. In all honesty it took about a year before I could overcome the fear of something happening to me if I started exercising and weightlifting again but at 264 pounds, my children in Africa were begging me to get healthy because they were afraid my weight gain would be the cause of my death. Let me just say that when you have 140 orphans praying for you, there isn't much choice but to get back to work in improving yourself for the sake of those you love and especially those who love you and need you. My family here in the US and in Africa are my inspiration for getting myself back "under construction"!
In November 2024 I started back at a CrossFit gym then in 2025, I replaced my Titan Weightlifting Rack for the Major Fitness B52 Pro Smith Machine which is what my gym (Fit Body Bootcamp) also uses. Between the gym and my home fitness setup, I have lost 60 pounds and am on pace to establish what I weighed before my heart attack. People ask me all the time "aren't you afraid that your existing heart condition can kill you"? I simply reply that God has allowed me the honor of serving Him in one of the most meaningful ways possible. The Bible says in James 1:27 that "religion that is pure and faultless before God is to look after widows and orphans". To me this means I am living the best life I can, and I can die knowing I finished well... He has my day already mapped out, so I might as well do all I can to make this world better while I can.

I’d always dreamed of having my own home gym. Once I got my own house with a barn, I could finally make it happen. When I saw the Lightning F35, I knew right away: this was going to be the centerpiece of my gym. It’s insanely versatile and pretty much covers everything you could want.

I love the freedom of being able to work out anytime, whether it’s on my own, with my kids, or even with neighbors. My home gym has really become a place where people come together, and not just me, but everyone grows.

I can’t wait to get my personal trainer license so I can coach people in a more professional way with this awesome piece of equipment.

Moving to a new city is tough - finding a gym, finding a job, finding friends - are all around not the most fun things to do. Moving to a new city while pregnant adds a whole other element. My husband and I were fortunate to find jobs and friends quickly but finding a gym scene was much harder. We were spoiled with big city living and the perks that came with the gyms there but the closest we could find here was still subpar on top of being over-crowded with little to no gym etiquette.

The Major Fitness F22 All-In-One Home Gym Power Rack was our saving grace. No longer were we stuck waiting for machines or fighting off questions of when I was due and if it was safe to be lifting. Our schedule was our own, whether we lifted together or a separate times, we had options and could do everything we needed from the comfort of our own garage.

3 weeks left in my pregnancy and I know the Power Rack will continue to be my savoir with a little one tagging along. I'll have the freedom to workout in the small moment available multiple times a day vs having to find a set hour free. I'll be able to teach my son that working out is fun and can be done with weights, bodyweight, cables, bands and anything in between. Major Fitness gave me freedom and peace of mind that I won't lose myself in the coming years but merely transform like an autobot with an upgrade.

I started going to the gym around 3 years ago with the desire to be healthier physically and mentally. About 7 months ago my wife and I found out we were having a daughter and I decided fitness was still a priority and my wife agreed.
I got the F22 and immediately fell in love with the versatility and compact design. My wife would join me for workouts and I quickly upgraded with the weight stacks as soon as they released because I saw how valuable the home gym was to both of us.
Now my home gym obsession is even more important with my daughter. I want to show her fitness and taking care of yourself are both important and I also want to continue to train while being a present father for her.
Having a home gym allows me to do both. I am always looking to expand my home gym so we can continue to workout as a family.

Since 18, the gym has been my sanctuary, usually as a solo lifter. I always dreamed of a home gym but never pulled the trigger until I faced the reality of how fragile life is after the passing of my mother and my brother. I realized that investing in my body was the best way to honor the life I have.

The F22 Power Rack was the missing piece of the puzzle. As a busy dad and husband, the "loner" gym days are over. They have been replaced by the efficiency of a world-class setup in my own home. It’s given me the freedom to maintain a high-level physique while being fully present for my two kids and my wife. No more commute. Just results and family.

I started my fitness journey as a kid playing football. Back then, it was about competition, pushing myself, and being part of something bigger than me. That drive carried into the Army, where fitness became a necessity, not just to perform, but to survive and lead. As a warfighter, I had to be strong, fast, and mentally sharp at all times. The gym became a place where I could build not just my body, but my discipline and resilience.

What’s changed is the “why.”

Back then, it was about performance, mission readiness, and proving to myself that I could handle anything. Today, it’s about longevity, leadership, and legacy.

Now I train in a simple garage gym at home. It’s not flashy, but it’s exactly what I need to keep pushing myself physically and mentally. At the center of it all is the Major Fitness F35 Pro Rack, it’s been rock solid, incredibly reliable, and the backbone of everything we do in that space.

The biggest shift is that it’s no longer just about me, it’s about my family. My wife and I train together, and now our son and daughter are part of that environment too.

What started as personal discipline has turned into something much bigger, a shared lifestyle that brings our family together. Fitness has become a common thread in our home, teaching our kids the value of hard work, consistency, and pushing through challenges.

And as we continue building this space, we’re excited about the future, adding new equipment over time that will allow us to train in new ways, challenge ourselves differently, and keep growing together.
